If you don't visit Jeju Island, you can't say to your friends that you've been to South Korea! Jeju is the best jewel of nature Korea has to offer with seasonally different faces and culturally unique images. I'm Lydia, newly registered tour guide here in 2017 and a licensed tour guide for customized private tour with 8 year-professional experiences, living on this beautiful volcanic island. Being a "people person" and having wide curiosity about different cultures and people with various backgrounds, I'm very passioned about my wonderful job (like a formfitting suit just for me!). I've a solid background in guiding different types of tours, ranging from Eco tour, Geo tour, art and architecture tour, UNESCO heritage tour and culinary tour to mention some. Having traveled many countries as a tourist, I realized that Jeju island is a magical place and offers different types of nature in a place as small as an island: beaches with turquoise blue water and blackish lava rocks and dense forests in volcanic cones, waterfalls, lava tubes, snow-capped mountains. . . For me, Jeju is the true place of heart-beating discoveries in the middle of nature, culture and people on a daily basis. Make you as your tour guide and let's discover together what Jeju Island has to offer, its unique geological features, cultural and natural assets, which are considered World Heritage by UNESCO. All the tours can be tailor-made according to your interests based on my recommendation. All you need to do is let me know what you feel like doing and seeing and I will create an itinerary JUST FOR YOU! Anyone with any religious, cultural or regional background is welcome! I fully understand that food and coffee time are two important factors to make your trip complete. Would you leave that on me? Additionally I put some recommended and seasonally available activities and experiences you may do, which are not listed on my 'pulished tours', as you can pick that on your own. (This option might take you some time that could cause you to skip one or two listed destinations from 'published tours' and needs you to pay the related fee) These are introduced to help you make your own customized tour. # Basic Natural Sites including UNESCO sites - Seongsan Sunrise Peak Tuff cone - Manjang Lava Tube - Dragon Head Coast - Suwolbong Tuff ring - Cheonjiyeon Waterfall - Cheonjeyeon Waterfall - Jeongbang Waterfall - Jeolmul Forest - Bizarim Forest - Several other volcanic forests - Saebeol Oreum - Yongnooni Oreum - Sangumburi Crater - Ttarabi Oreum - Abu Oreum etc. (personally or seasonally can be picked) - Other recommended or wished natural sites # Cultural Sites - Jeju National Museum - Jeju Natural History Museum - Jeju Stone Culture Park - Seongeup Folk Village - Jeju Folk Village (over 1 hour- walking needed) - Green Tea Farm - Dragon Head Pond & Rock - And so on. . . . # Arts and Architecture Special - Kim Yong Gap Gallery - Jeju Contemporary Art Gallery - Gidang Gallery - Itami June Gallery - Lee Joong Seop Gallery - Other monumental Architectures or Galleries # Activities seasonally available : - Horse-back riding (any season) - Go cart (any season) - Kayaking or Yachting or Power boating (Spring, Summer and Automne) - Scuba diving or Windsurfing (Summer only) - Tangerine Picking (Winter only) # Touristic museums for fun - Ice Museum : Ice sculptures & 3 dimensional optical illusion paintings) - Teddy bear safari : stuffed teddy bears in a variety of fancy settings - Automobile museum : world classic cars and automobiles' history - Glass castle : glass artworks and glass-made displays - Alive museum : several sections with optically illudded paintings & displays - Seashell museum : all possible types of seashells from all over the world - Other recommended or wished places - Tour Guide Certificate issued by KTO (Korea Tourism Organization) - Interpreter Certificate issued by NAI (National Association for Interpretation) - Jeju Eco-Culture Interpreter certificated by Jeju Provincial Government - Nature-Environment Interpreter certificated by Ministry of Environment - Global Geoparks Network Guide of Jeju designated by Jeju UNESCO World Heritage Center

This is one-day highlight for tourists who have limited stay on Jeju including cruise passengers. This tour basically lasts for 8 hours, covering the natural highlights in the eastern parts of Jeju Island. The destinations are mostly UNESCO designated sites, but if you want, any places you'd like to visit could be added or replaced with sample ones. The eastern part of Jeju is less populated area with wide spreading agricultural fields as well as great local restaurants with a variety of menus. In the east, you can encounter the well-known and UNESCO designated human asset, Jeju's Haenyeo, women divers more likely, along with turquoise green ocean. Don't miss this chance to see another natural and cultural assets we have. Don't miss this chance to explore and be faced with a different type of locality of Korea.
Fantastic tour! Lydia is the best. Cheerful, funny and informative.
We had such an amazing day in Jeju with Lydia!! when we got off of our ship to meet her we had a plan of going a different direction on the island, but she was so on point and said it’s too windy, let’s go another direction and off we went! we went to a tea farm because I had told her I wanted to get some Korean skin care and wow it was so beautiful! then she whisked us off to go see these amazing cliffs that had formations like the Giants Causeway we had seen before in Ireland. Wrapping up our day we had a very relaxing lunch at a local Korean BBQ restaurant that we shall never forget! The best food but the main part and best part was sitting and be able to enjoy time with Lydia talking and just enjoying the lunch, sharing food and stories with each other. we spent so much time at lunch and got lost in that that we had to takeoff and head back to the ship. Sadly, we wished we were staying overnight. Lydia purchased us some fresh tangerines that were out of this world, sweet and juicy! We had 20 different guides on our month long trip to Asia and all three of us voted at the end and Lydia was by far the best most friendly fun guide of the whole trip. We had a sing-along in the car on the way back to the boat, which we will never forget all four of us just singing to “I wanna know what love is”! We miss you Lydia!! 100% if you are going to Jeju book a day with her right now! ❤️❤️❤️
We had the pleasure of having Lydia P., #19824, as our guide for the day our cruise ship docked in Jeju, South Korea this November 2025. I highly recommend the tour and Lydia. Lydia customized the tour to meet our needs including an 81 year old in a wheelchair. We saw a folk village, UNESCO site, the beauty of the island, and she taught us about the island and its culture. To complete our tour we went to a local restaurant where we invited her to join us. This dinner was a highlight of our trip. Lydia made us feel comfortable and her English was superb. Lydia is a magnificent guide and the tour was wonderful. Karen I.
Lydia did a fantastic job of showing the highlights of jeju island in the limited time we had in port . The museum was very interesting & the authentic Korean lunch we had in a small local restaurant away from the tour buses was delicious . We shared many laughs throughout the day & she did a great job carefully driving us all over the island making sure we were back in time before our ship departed
We had an incredible experience on Jeju Island! Even though our visit was limited to just 5 hours, our knowledgeable guide Lydia worked hard to ensure we captured the island’s most captivating highlights. One of our stops was the beautiful Innisfree Tea Plant, where we savored some delightful desserts crafted from fresh, local ingredients. The serene surroundings and lush greenery made the experience even more enjoyable. We also dined at a charming local restaurant that was off the typical tourist path. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the dishes we tried truly showcased the unique flavors of Jeju cuisine. It was a memorable day that allowed us to appreciate the island's beauty and culture in such a short time! It was a memorable day, and I highly recommend contacting Lydia for a tour!
Lydia is very energetic and helpful in planning out a tour. She is very prompt and her English was helpful. Despite rainy weather we adjusted for a good day. One major site was closed on Monday that we drove a distance to so be careful on Mondays as some sights not open. We very much recommend Lydia.
