I love meeting people, guiding them to experience the life, culture and people of my country, Singapore. I will share with you why many Singaporeans live in flats and how we cope with limited spaces. Have fun visiting a 'town centre' I will share entertaining anecdotes and trivia with you such as the lifestyle of a typical Singaporean 3 -tier generation family living under the same roof. My grandparents used to live with my family during my teenage years. You will get a bit of a thrill when I show to some you some of my hidden gems of this neighborhood. You will 'go native' further by visiting a 'hawker centre' (food centre) and neighborhood shops. I will share with you about the importance of ingredients and dishes to the local people. Some of the shopkeepers are very friendly and I had been patronizing their shops for many years. I will teach you some local dialect. You may even get a chance to chat with the locals using Singapore's local language. You will love this tour because it is a great way to get more insights of what everyday life is like for the locals while having lots of fun.
