What better way, then, to discover Singapore's history and heritage than through its foods - to see how it's made, to smell the aromas of spices and sauces, to hear the sizzling and clanking of pans, to feel so many textures and finally. . . . . to taste and savour the beautiful flavours! At the end of this tour, you will not only learn about Singapore's heritage, but also discover what makes Singapore so special!
Your Singapore tour itinerary
You will explore the 3 ethnic precincts with beautiful historical sites, learn about Singapore's heritage and taste up to 8 local favourite foods. Come with a hungry stomach! (Note: this food tour is not coeliac-friendly. However, arrangements can be made for other food restrictions or allergies) You will be met at your hotel or location of choice and taken by ride-booking car to the first location. Thereafter, the tour is by walking and public transport experience. The 3 ethnic districts are: 1. Chinatown 2. Little India 3. Kampong Glam. There will be visits to a hawker centre, a local coffee shop, local snack stalls and a local produce market to experience how Singapore food evolved and is central to our history, our heritage and our way of life.
