Singapore is a city state in South East Asia, a modern metropolis with dazzling skyscrapers, with Instagram-worthy attractions, a congregation of different cultures made up of Chinese, Malay, Indian and various other ethnicities, and a foodie's paradise! Born and bred in Singapore, I started my guiding career 16 years ago and handle mainly specialised and private tours. We will visit the filming locations in the movie and learn some hidden "secrets" of scenes and the "real" truth behind locations in the movie! We start at CHIJMES, the chapel where Araminta and Colin's wedding took place, and drive through the "Beverly Hills" of Singapore where Peik Lin's expansive mansion was, stroll down a street full of clan associations where Eleanor made her way to meet Rachel at the mahjong parlour, admire the colourful shophouses where Rachel had a heart-to-heart talk with Peik Lin, visit the exact spot where the wedding dinner was held at Gardens by the Bay, make a brief photo stop at Raffles Hotel where the lead couple stayed in, and Newton Circus Food Centre where the lead couple and friends met for hawker dinner on their arrival to Singapore!
