Good Day my friend !! I was born in the 1960s in Singapore. For the past 50+ years I have watched the transformation of Singapore into a modern metropolis. I am glad to see many of our built and intangible heritage preserved. It was my passion for local heritage and culture that got me started with heritage tours several years ago and have never looked back. As a tour guide my biggest reward comes from meeting people from all over the world, sharing with them exciting sites, stories and flavours of Singapore. Pick me as your guide and I would give you an unforgettable experience !! Licensed by Singapore Tourism Board to conduct tours in Singapore in English and Mandarin.

A car will be used throughout the tour. At various sites we will park to walk around. I will take you on a journey to discover the rich cultures of the three main ethnic groups in Singapore and its colonial past. You will be guided through Chinatown, Kampong Glam / Gelam (Muslim Quarter), Little India, Civic/Colonial District to learn about the lives of early immigrants. If time permits I will also take you to Fort Canning Park, which has witnessed several centuries of change. As this is a private tour I can adapt the itinerary according to your needs. Need to see Orchard Road, Marina Bay Sands, Botanic/orchid gardens, Gardens by the Bay, Raffles hotel or Jewish quarter (synagogue)? I can adjust the itinerary, as long as we can keep within the time allocated. The location for pickup/dropoff can be hotel, airport or cruise centre, which makes this a great choice for shore excursion. Kindly note that the duration of the tour is from agreed pickup time to the time of dropoff
As this is a private tour, I can customize it to your needs. The following is only a proposed itinerary. You will see the following sites/buildings in a car or on foot. 1. Civic / Colonial district - Singapore River - Merlion Park - national monuments (Fullerton hotel, Asian civilization museum, Victoria theatre, supreme court, city hall, national gallery, war memorials) 2. Chinatown - Buddhist/Taoist temple - heritage shophouses - street market (traditional medicine, dried foods, hawker centre, etc) - murals, opera theatre - stories of the Chinese - sky garden at a public housing precinct 3. Kampong Glam / Gelam (Muslim Quarter) - stories of the Malay and Muslims - Sultan mosque - murals, fabric (batik) - Arab street, Haji Lane 4. Little India - Hindu temple - flowers and spices - stories of the Indians in Singapore 5. Fort Canning Park (if time permits) - spice garden - heritage gallery (closed on 1st Mon of the month) Note: We will have a 30 to 45 min lunch/dinner at one of the above sites
