Good Day my friend !! I was born in the 1960s in Singapore. For the past 50+ years I have watched the transformation of Singapore into a modern metropolis. I am glad to see many of our built and intangible heritage preserved. It was my passion for local heritage and culture that got me started with heritage tours several years ago and have never looked back. As a tour guide my biggest reward comes from meeting people from all over the world, sharing with them exciting sites, stories and flavours of Singapore. Pick me as your guide and I would give you an unforgettable experience !! Licensed by Singapore Tourism Board to conduct tours in Singapore in English and Mandarin.

I will take you on a journey to discover the rich cultures of the three main ethnic groups in Singapore and its colonial past. You will be guided through Chinatown, the Muslim Quarter and Little India to learn about the lives of early immigrants, and experience the built and intangible cultural heritage preserved. Enjoy a vista of classical European style buildings and vernacular houses against the backdrop of the historical Singapore River. Understand how trade have brought people to Singapore and transformed this city into a modern metropolis. As this is a private tour I can adapt the itinerary according to your needs. Need to see a garden or a special monument? I will take a detour, as long as we can keep within the time allocated. The location for pickup/dropoff can be hotel, airport or cruise centre, which makes this a great choice for shore excursion.
As this is a private tour, I can customize it to your needs. The following is only the proposed itinerary, which you can change to suit your needs. 1. Chinatown - visit temple, market - living conditions, past and present 2. Colonial district - singapore river - national monuments 3. Muslim Quarter - The King and his mosque - The King that ceded singapore to Britain 4. Little India - early trades of Indians - Indian religions 5. Fort Canning Park - Understand pre-colonial and colonial Singapore 6. Public housing estate (not available on Sunday and public holidays) - get an insight into how locals live Note: We will have a half an hour to 45 min lunch/dinner at one of the above sites.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
