BEST Singapore Customized Tour (One Full Day or Multiple Days)

Anna was terrific. Very knowledgeable and engaging about Singapore’s history, culture and people. We spent over 10 hours together and she would have gone longer but we were exhausted. If you are traveling through Singapore, we highly recommend you take at least a day (two would be better) and really see Singapore. All that said, Anna is the BEST. Definitely ask for her if you go.

Our two days touring Singapore with Anna Ong were absolutely outstanding. If you are lucky enough to have Anna as your guide, you are in for an unforgettable experience. Anna customized a private tour for the four of us on the first day and then continued with two of us on the second day. She thoughtfully designed the itinerary so we could experience the incredible diversity of Singapore. We visited each of the major ethnic quarters—Indian, Malay, and Chinese—and had the opportunity to see the beautiful places of worship in each neighborhood while also tasting authentic local foods along the way. With Anna we truly experienced Singapore like locals. We walked at least six miles each day and learned to navigate the public transportation system like pros. Anna made sure we tasted some of the best foods Singapore has to offer. At the Newton Hawker Centre we tried chili crab, satay, and stingray. The chili crab was my absolute favorite, while my husband loved the stingray—but honestly everything we tried was delicious. On the second day in Chinatown we had incredible chicken rice and the most delicious toast with butter and kaya. My favorite bite of the day was the popiah—it was absolutely incredible. What makes Anna such a remarkable guide is not only her knowledge, but how she teaches you to experience Singapore yourself. She initially ordered food for us (and even paid so we could reimburse her), but then helped us learn how to order and navigate the hawker centers on our own. By the end we felt confident exploring like locals. Anna is incredibly smart, passionate, and eager to share Singapore’s story. We loved learning how Singapore became an independent nation and how careful planning, strong leadership, and the hardworking people of the country helped it flourish. She also made sure we saw Singapore’s iconic sights including Marina Bay Sands, the SkyPark, the Supertrees, Gardens by the Bay, and the Cloud Forest. Singapore is an extraordinary country, and Anna is the best guide you could ever hope for to introduce you to it. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Anna was an absolutely amazing tour guide! She has an incredible knowledge of the history of Singapore and takes you all through the city so that you can actually feel the heartbeat of this magical place! As a guide she works very hard to make sure your day is customized to what you would like to see and learn and then during the tour she is extremely thoughtful and perceptive to assure your absolute enjoyment and comfort throughout the day!
