In this 3-hour Ethnic Quarters with 9 Tastings Tour, you will discover not only the stories behind the various historical ethnic quarters but also sample 9 different local food & drink. Explore the ethnic quarters of Kampong Glam, Little India and Chinatown, where early immigrants to Singapore had created communities. Within each quarter, experience the sights, sounds and flavours of each ethnic groups and discover interesting nuggets of facts and hidden sights that you would have missed. What's more, taste authentic traditional street food and drink while I reveal the historical and cultural stories behind each tasting. Each tasting stop is always in an authentic local eatery or hawker centre for you to experience first-hand where the locals love to eat in their day-to-day lives. As a bonus, you would get an opportunity to take a ride on the MRT with me, to experience how most locals get around. This tour is truly a multi-sensory experience that you'll never forget!
Your Singapore tour itinerary
Upon confirmation of the tour, I would check with you on any dietary restriction that you may have. This tour will take you to experience the following places, where you will be sampling 9 traditional street food & drink: 1) Kampong Glam 2) Little India 3) Chinatown An MRT ride is included within the tour, while we will be walking for the most part of the tour. *Starting and Ending Locations* The default tour price does not include vehicle transfers. The meeting point for the tour is at 56 Arab Street and the tour ends in Chinatown. *Optional 2-Way Vehicle Transfer for Pick-Up and Drop-Off* I can meet you at your hotel or residence anywhere within the city centre and arrange a vehicle for transfer to the starting point of the tour. And at the end of the tour, a vehicle would be arranged to send you back to anywhere within the city centre. The additional cost of this is SGD50 for up to 3 persons, or SGD70 for up to 5 persons. Please message me after booking if you require this 2-way vehicle transfer.
