Viewpoints, Beaches & History - St Kitts Half Day Shore Excursion

Join me on this journey as we explore the rich history of St. Kitts in a leisurely way! With my years of experience as a local, tour guide and communicator, I'll be able to show you places that truly reflect our history. You'll have the chance to learn about our old French town capital, Basseterre, see our local merch stores and enjoy the island buzz. Learn about how the British colonial and slavery systems have influenced our way of living to date. See, hear, and maybe even learn our local accent along with some of our culture. I'll highlight our colourful edifices and more with the touch of lovely island music playing in the faint distance. You'll also see the affluent development and picturesque sceneries as we drive down to the southeastern tip of our guitar-shaped island. This tour then climaxes with more fun and sun at Cockleshell Beach! So bring along your bathing suit, chunks, and sunglass as you chill like a true islander! The following itinerary could be customized:

-The tour will start with you getting picked up from your lodging. -We'll then drive through Basseterre, enjoying 18th-century structures merged with modern upkeeping. -Next, we'll stop to look at a nest of white egrets with the Caribbean Sea in the background. -We'll then drive a little further and higher to a stunning viewpoint at Mattingley Heights to look over Basseterre and see neighboring islands south of us. -What follows is a closer view of the airport overlooking the city. -Putting away history books, we'll journey to the beach- stopping at the Timothy Hill lookoff to see the Atlantic Ocean & Caribbean Sea all at once! -Afterwards, we'll drive the peninsula hugged by both oceans, seeing the mountains, urban development, and marine traffic. -Next, we'll arrive at Cockashell Beach- enjoy the sun, while having a 20/20 view of Nevis, our sister island, just 2 miles away. -After about 4 hours of the excursion, I'll take you back to the original meeting point.
