About me: I, a native of St. Kitts, grew up in the town of Sandy Point, Downing Street. Then I moved to St. Croix U. S. Virgin Island and shortly after moved to Indiana where completed high school and trade school education. On graduation from high school, I moved to Texas where attended Texas College in Tyler, Texas. At that College, I was conferred with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and also a member of the International Student Association. Since that time, I have worked in administration and management for different companies over the years, I gave 10 years service to the US Army and was afforded the opportunity to travel around the world to at least five continents. As a Tour Guide, I had the privilege of driving the royal family of Dubai, the CEO of Disney World Pictures, Sir. Vivian Richard, among other dignitaries and popular personalities. - Bachelors in Business Administration at Tyler Texas College - Certificate of Completion in St. Kitts Tourism Authority Ambassador Program - Certificate of Completion for the September 2016 Tourism Sector Training - People's Choice Award from the Ministry of Tourism - United States Army Veteran I do not have any restrictions in regard to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences

Get ready to experience the hike of a lifetime. The highest mountain on the small island of St. Kitts is Mount Liamuiga, at 3, 792 feet above sea level. This is the site of a volcano that still shows definite signs of life with its active fumaroles in its half-mile-wide crater. Take a hike to this mountain with Island Paradise Tours. Our experienced guide will take you to the lip of this crater where you will enjoy some really breathtaking and spectacular views down into the crater. And then if you are up for it, you can even go down into the crater and look at the boiling fumaroles within. On the way, your guide will point out the flora and fauna of the rainforest, the geography of the mountain and the island, and even some pertinent bits of the history and culture of the island, giving you a fully educational tour. On a very clear day, you can see our neighboring islands such as St. Eustatius, St. Martin, Saba, St. Barts, and Anguilla. It's an awesome view. Refreshment will be provided.
Starting time is 7 am however, the time is adjustable based on the ship's arrival time. -We travel from Basseterre along the Western Caribbean Coastline to Newton Ground, named after John Newton, who wrote the song Amazing Grace right here in our beloved St. Kitts. - We follow the local farmers' road all the way up to the eave of the forest where we park our vehicle. -We will drink some water, do stretch exercise then we enter the forest and start the hike. -You can carry bottled water for thirst if you so desire. - When we get to the top of the mountain, we observe the crater then we rest for a while and view the islands in the distance. - When everyone is fully rested, we leave the mountain and everyone will have refreshments. - Afterwards, we head to Basseterre and back to your Ship or hotel.
