Saint Kitts - Half Island Adventure Tour

This adventure starts in our historic capital city, Basseterre, and takes you around it, visiting places such as the Berkley memorial and various historic churches, plus our independence square and our war memorial (veteran memorial). We'd also enjoy a beautiful view of the city making a stop at palms Court Gardens, which is also a panoramic viewpoint of our South East peninsula and our sister Island Nevis, which will be visible in the background. Venturing west, upon exiting Basseterre we'd encounter a picturesque moment where you could capture the nesting area of white egrets, which is always a sight to see. We'd visit a headland too, called "bloody point", and then see the Kalinago people's rock drawings. Our tour would also lead to the ruins of the Old Sugar Plantation, where we'd visit the Romney Manor, home of Maurice Widdowson's Caribelle Batik. We'd also visit a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site: Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, where you'd learn about the rich history of the eponimous fortress.

-Our first visit will be the Historic Capital of Basseterre. -Then, we'll proceed to the Veteran War Memorial. -Next, we'll venture into the Palm Court Gardens. -We'll then continue to the nesting area of white egrets. -Our Next stop is at Bloody Point and the Kalinago Rock Drawings. -After this, we'll visit the Romney Manor/Caribelle Batik. -We'll then travel to the Brimestone Hill Fortress National Park. -Afterwards we'll find our way over to the Southeastern End of the island, towards Timothy Hill, where you'll view the Atlantic and the Caribbean meet. -If time allows us, we'll venture to South Friars Beach (Carambola Beach Club), before heading back to your resort or cruise.
