I'm a friendly, social, and witty person who would love to connect with you! Born and raised in St. Kitts, I have come to appreciate the island I call home. From its national parks, fertile land, and calm Caribbean waters to the rough Atlantic seas, I love it all. With its warm beaches, intimate spots, picturesque views, and kind, loving people, my heart beats to the symphony of "life on St. Kitts". Whether it's the island's colorful homes, historic buildings, curvy roads, or the faint images of distant beauty, I sync with "life on St. Kitts". The rhythms of our ancestors, the beats of our present culture, the fragrance of our flora, and our fine foods keep me going to the tune of "life in St. Kitts." Combining this with my experience as a tour guide, my why is to share a personal journey with you as you discover... uncover my island. I've been an official tour guide since 2015. Therefore, because of my love for exploring, I guarantee a satisfying tour. I'm academically inclined, so I use this to bring a knowledgeable perspective to our excursions. Lastly, in my evenings, I work at a radio station, and as a communicator at heart, I always look forward to connecting as I introduce you to this piece of paradise. Join me on this journey as we explore the rich history of St. Christopher better known as St. Kitts. Learn about where we came from, our background and who we are now, our culture, our strength and our heritage, plus unveil where we're heading: our potential. This tour provides the best kind of time travel you can experience by visiting my homeland. An ideal blend of historical sites that'll make you ponder, commentary that'll keep you in sync with life on St. Kitts, and superb hospitality. With my years in the tour industry plus being a local by birth I'm well-equipped to showcase my communities. Now being a husband and communications specialist, I understand the need to connect. I'll show you where I grew up too. We'll visit our capital- Basseterre, an old french town that shows stains of slavery & imprints of British colonialism, and we'll enjoy the nature of the rainforest & the history of various sites such as Independence Square's old slave market and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Brimstone Hill.
-We'll start by me picking you up from your lodging and drive through Basseterre, enjoying 18th-century structures merged with modern upkeeping. -We'll have a key stop at Bloody River, to connect to the emotions and history of an area where Europeans fought Amerindians for settlers' rights. -We'll then drive further west where a stunning view of the then-British local communities will be revealed (a 3rd of our country's land!). -Afterwards, we'll arrive at the historic town of Old Road. -Next, we'll explore the Wingfield Estate located at the base of our island's main rainforest, and walk around while learning about this old sugarcane rum estate. -After this visit, we'll drive through the rainforest's road to Caribelle Batik to enjoy picturesque, harmonious nature at this botanical garden, learning of the indigenous people's history. -Venture deeper into our culture en route to our Grand Finale: Brimstone Hill Fortress, the Gibraltar of the West Indies. -We'll then drive back. Customizable itinerary.
