Hike St. Kitts: Highest peak Mount Liamuiga Volcano

Join me in exploring my Island! Come on an adventurous tour blending driving & hiking with history & culture. Formerly named Mt Misery now Mount Liamuiga is a stratovolcano that stands tall on the northern end of St Kitts. Learn how this volcano has shaped most of our island. On the commute, enjoy a scenic drive, as you learn of our island passing through our capital city, academic areas, and other communities such as a former slave "free village." See lush mountains while looking at the generally calm Caribbean Sea. Spend your day with me, who's been referred to as a knowledgeable, witty, personable guide. Also learn about our nature and livestock, such as Vervet Monkeys. Going through some farms and former sugarcane fields, we'll hike from 700 ft to approx' 3100 ft of our volcano's 3, 792 ft. summit. Overlook the volcano's crater, and have a panoramic view of the community below where we hiked from, along with a view of the neighboring island's volcano.

-After picking you up from your lodging, we'll cover Basseterre's main highlights, enjoying 18th-century structures merged with modern upkeeping. -Next, we'll pass by Bloody River, connecting to the emotions and history of an area where Europeans fought the Amerindians for settlers' rights. -We'll then drive further west towards a stunning view of the then-British local communities (a 3rd of our country's land mass) and the Volcano. -Drive through historic communities such as Old Road and Middle Island. -Afterwards, we'll pass by Brimstone Hill Fortress. -We'll continue heading to the Grand Finale: Mt Liamuiga Volcano. -On arrival, we'll begin our hike with a short orientation. -After completion, we'll journey back to your lodging. -After such a workout, we rejuvenate with a local lunch (will discuss) -Based on the lunch choice, we will continue north of the island, passing through Black volcanic Rocks community, where you will see the full island. -You are back (Customizable itinerary)
