I am Fernando, your private tour guide, and I'd like to welcome you to a unique travel experience! I'm excited to share how my passion for travel and local knowledge can make your trip unforgettable. Allow yourself to get immersed in the splendid Maya experience: from ancient city pyramids to amazing natural wonders; impressive cenotes and deep natural springs from subterranean waters, where you can snorkel in! 8 years ago, my love for México and my fascination with urban photography led me to become a tour guide. To me, each tour is an opportunity to explore and capture the unique essence of our cities and landscapes. As an experienced tour guide, my approach goes beyond the conventional. I pride myself on my ability to immerse visitors in the cultural richness of the places we visit, offering a unique and enriching experience. My approach involves not only providing historical facts but also engaging in a deeper analysis of the design of ancient cities, particularly those steeped in antiquity like those of the Mayan civilization. To make it a more complete and entertaining tour, I use digital visual media and maps. I consider myself a good photographer; you can always count on me to get the best photos, from the best angles! My recipe for success has been, travellers do not adapt to me, once I meet you at the beginning of the tour, I adapt to you! Certified General Guide Federal Driver's License & Van with Federal Tourist Plates Every 3 years, tourist guides in Mexico require certification to obtain the endorsement of the credential issued by the Ministry of Tourism, continuing Education is a fundamental activity to practice our profession. By exploring Tulum, we'll be actually covering what would become the last chapter of the fascinating 4000 year history of the Maya civilization! Our mayan experience will expand further, by visiting the classic era site of Coba, where we'll be going around either via bycicle or a rickshaw style bike taxi for added comfort (especially if you have mobility issues). You should expect to see original Mayan hieroglyphs and come across mighty structures shrouded in old growth jungle and (we usually spend an average of an hour and a half here). In addition to this, close to the Cobá area, there's a beautiful Cenote that we'll pass by before returning to your accommodation. Cenotes are naturally formed wells, which occur when porous limestone bedrock collapsed beneath the earth's surface hundreds of years ago. During this exciting day, you can trust me to immortalize your memories by capturing some pictures of your favourite moments in the tour!
