Since I can remember, I have been traveling around my country, México, and I've developed a big love and pride for this beautiful place! My Mom is from Mexico City and my first 25 years I spent them there, but my Dad is from the south east of Mexico, the Yucatan Peninsula. All my childhood we used to travel there and visit my grandma and the rest of the family. I remember we tryed to trvel each vacations we could, easter, summer, Christmas and new year and alway traveling by car, so we were visiting a lot beautiful places and diferent landscapes on the way. Now I want to share my joy with you and be your host and guide during your visit. It's very important for me to help visitors experience México the way a local would. Degree in Tourism Business Administration at UVM (Universidad del Valle de México school) Degree in General Tourist Guide at ENAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History)and certified as Tour Guide in Spanish, French and English. Chichén Itzá is maybe the most known mayan city and it is also one of the new seventh world wonder, so let me tell you all about the mayan mysteries of this place. I will pick you up early but the idea is to avoid the crowds, the big buses. In that way I can show you the most emblematic pyramids, and I will explain the meaning of each, why they built them exactly there among other details that not a lot of people know. Your pictures will be wonderful too!!! With no people. Cenotes are amazing, natural and unique places here in the Yucatan Peninsula. It is a real experience to visit them and I will gladly take you a not so crowded one located in a mayan town where we will also experience the local ladies cooking for us!

Outstanding tour of Chichen Itza and a very quiet cenote with Rosalia and her driver (and also guide) Omar! They picked us up super early from our hotel near Playa del Carmen and transported us (a family group of 10) in a very comfortable van with drinks and snacks to Chichen Itza. We arrived just after opening, when the site was not crowded at all and the temperature was more bearable (although quite hot and humid in June). Rosalia is a great storyteller and kept all of us, both teens and adults, entertained and engaged throughout the visit. She then took us to a lovely, quiet cenote with only one other small family visiting, where we swam to cool down. She had snorkel gear in the van for anyone who was interested in doing so to see the fish and limestone underwater up close. We ended with a wonderful Mayan lunch at a local family-owned restaurant - this was the best meal we had in Mexico! We ended the day back at our hotel by around 4-4:30pm. All 10 of us would strongly recommend Rosalia and Omar and would very happily have taken more tours with them if our trip to the Yucatan hadn't been so short!
Rosalia was an amazing guide with our family, along with Omar, our driver. She was very knowledgeable and made the visit fun for our daughter (8). They took us to a lesser known cenote, and we basically had the whole place for ourselves. Amazing experience, highly recommended booking with Rosalia for an unforgettable trip.
Rosalia is amazing! She was so attentive with our group and gave us an amazing experience. She made us feel like friends. She has so much knowledge of the places we went. She also worked with us attentively to make sure our group got back in time for our evening meeting. If I ever go back to Cancun I will only tour with her! She’s amazing! We booked months in advance and she communicated well. She also made you feel like a local and we went to small local places.
Truly an amazing tour and the highlight of our trip. Rosalia and Omar led an extremely fun and informative day with a thoughtfully planned itinerary that included Chichén Itzá, a cenote swim, and a delicious home-cooked meal. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cancun who wants a memorable day trip away from the resort.
The tour with Rosalia was amazing. She is very knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and Chichen Itza in particular. It also very refreshing that she will stick with the facts that are actually known about the Mayans and will tell you that certain other myths or theories are simply not true or we simply don’t know if they are. In the tour the Mayan culture really came to life. We also had a wonderful lunch at the home of a Mayan family (thanks to Claudia for her fantastic cooking) and afterwards went to a hidden cenote (in the middle of the forest), which was simply spectacular. Omar was a fantastic driver and helped me out tremendously (as I have problems walking). Both Rosalia and Omar went out of their way to accommodate us and made the tour and unforgettable experience.
• I will pick you up at your place at 6:00 am and drive directly to Chichen Itza. It will take us two hours to get there. • We will visit the area in around 2 hrs more or less, time to explain you each temple, show you a lot of details, take a lot of pictures. • Go to the cenote and free time to swim. • Lunch at the same place of the cenote to taste real local food. • Go back to your hotel.
