I am Fernando, your private tour guide, and I'd like to welcome you to a unique travel experience! I'm excited to share how my passion for travel and local knowledge can make your trip unforgettable. Allow yourself to get immersed in the splendid Maya experience: from ancient city pyramids to amazing natural wonders; impressive cenotes and deep natural springs from subterranean waters, where you can snorkel in! 8 years ago, my love for México and my fascination with urban photography led me to become a tour guide. To me, each tour is an opportunity to explore and capture the unique essence of our cities and landscapes. As an experienced tour guide, my approach goes beyond the conventional. I pride myself on my ability to immerse visitors in the cultural richness of the places we visit, offering a unique and enriching experience. My approach involves not only providing historical facts but also engaging in a deeper analysis of the design of ancient cities, particularly those steeped in antiquity like those of the Mayan civilization. To make it a more complete and entertaining tour, I use digital visual media and maps. I consider myself a good photographer; you can always count on me to get the best photos, from the best angles! My recipe for success has been, travellers do not adapt to me, once I meet you at the beginning of the tour, I adapt to you! Certified General Guide Federal Driver's License & Van with Federal Tourist Plates Every 3 years, tourist guides in Mexico require certification to obtain the endorsement of the credential issued by the Ministry of Tourism, continuing Education is a fundamental activity to practice our profession. Allow yourself to discover Sian Ka'an, which means "where the sky is born", plus where terrestrial & coastal environments unite. On this Muyil tour, I'll share the beauty & rich history of Quintana Roo with you, combining a visit to a Mayan archaeological site with an eco-adventure in a stunning nature reserve. While traveling into the jungle, we will visit the Mayan site of Muyil, where I'll lead you discovering Mayan ruins that appear to be hidden. You'll be surprised to see a temple similar to the famous Tikal but in miniature with its reliefs! On this tour, water will be a constant: we'll pass by water springs, even get to do some swimming, and see a unique building called Xlapak, which was built at the beginning of a river. We'll also visit the Kaan Luum lagoon, a very picturesque place with swings, hammocks and docks, where I'll be happy to take pictures of you with this fantastic background. In addition to this, we'll follow an ecological trail & take a boat trip through a lagoon and canals.
·We'll start with an early pickup from your hotel, to depart to Muyil. ·On arrival, we'll walk the site's trails until we reach El Castillo, a building that looks similar to the great basements of Tikal. ·After exploring the Muyil ruins, we'll continue towards the impressive Sian Ka'an Nature Reserve, home to a wide variety of flora & fauna. ·We'll proceed to walk for 500 mts. along the Canan Ha trail, where crystalline water springs will accompany us. ·Then as we make our way to the reserve's highest Mirador, we'll be amazed by the biosphere's panoramic views. ·We'll then eat some Mexican snacks before taking our boat through 2 lagoons connected by one of the ancient canals of Sian Ka'an. At one point we'll get to swim in these crystal clear waters, with our life jacket among mangroves & epiphyte plants such as orchids & bromeliads for around 30 mins, listening to birdsong & the moving winds. ·Afterwards, we'll reach the Kaan Luum lagoon where we'll also do some swimming. ·At last, we'll head back.
