Hello, Welcome to Cancún & Riviera Maya!! My name is Miguel Pasos and I enjoy meeting new people and finding ways to help you have an unforgettable experience. Nowadays I work as a tour conductor and guide in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. I specialized in the organization of private excursions and activities in Cancun, Riviera Maya and other attractions of the Yucatan Peninsula, from Mayan ceremonial centers, cenotes and theme parks to colonial cities and authentic Mayan communities. I will explain in simple common language the significant features of the area in an entertaining way. "A lot of people won't take a tour because the last time they did, they were one of 50 people, and the tour guide was talking at them. " For this reason I keep groups small — from 1 to 6 people- to make the tours personal and let people ask questions and tell their interests. Overview of your Cancun tour

Ek Balam is one of the last archaeological sites discovered in the Yucatan Peninsula and is perhaps one of the most important Mayan ruins ever found. There are historical sources that suggest that it was an important center of the region during the Postclassic period. I will tell you all about the interesting history of how it was founded and share all my knowledge of this site. After, we will have a chance to swim at Cenote Saamal, an amazing cenote where you can have fun jumping into its refreshing waters. Later, a delicious regional buffet will be waiting to delight us with incredible flavors. Our last stop is Valladolid, is now known as "The Capital of the Maya East", where two great passages of the history of Mexico happened: "The War of Castes" in 1847 and "The first spark of the Mexican Revolution" in 1910. It has a great architectural beauty in its ancestral colonial buildings such as the San Bernardino Convent of Siena, the Municipal Palace, the Church of San Servacio and other important monument

I am so glad that we found Miguel! We had a wonderful day going around EK Balam and Valladolid. When I initially contacted him, I mentioned things that we wanted to do and things we wanted to do away with for the tour. He was able to customize something for us— we saw the places we wanted to see and eat good food ( which I told him was impt). He shared a lot of knowledge to us about culture, food, and the sites. (Hotel, cruise port or special requested place). • 07:00 am Pick up for hotels located at the Riviera Maya During the ride I will share some facts about the mayan villages, Mexican history and traditions. • 9:00 - 11:00 am Guided tour of Ek Balam. I will explain all about the history of this ancient ceremonial center.  •11:30 am - 01:30 pm Time to refresh at the cenote and then enjoy Lunch. • 01:45 - 3:00 pm Visit to the colonial city of Valladolid. You will have a city tour to visit the most important monuments of the city. • 5:00 pm Back to the hotel.
