Dear travelers, My name is Vlado, and I'm an independent personal tour guide based in Skopje, Macedonia. I work with small groups (max. eight people) in order to give exclusive service to each of my customers. I am fluent in English, Serbo-Croatian, Bulgarian and Russian. With over 20 years of local guiding experience, I have a complete knowledge of Macedonia - its history, legends, traditions and culture. My biggest hobbies are music and traveling. I have visited more than 60 countries. Regarding my job I like to meet people with different culture, religious and I treat them all with respect and dignity. The reason why the visitors should visit Macedonia is that my country can offer a lot of history, national parks, city of Ohrid, the oldest, deepest and cleanest lake in Europe protected by UNESCO, known as Jerusalem on Balkan, 365 churches and monasteries, and first university of 11 c. including the hospitality of the people and the best food on the Balkan. I am organizing Eco organic lunch in the village with homemade food and wine and make for my guests positively memory with different aspects from each visit. I organize private tours which includes door to door service (pickup from the room and drop off, ) tailored to your tastes and expectations. I provide exceptional service with prices to meet every budget. The journey is the pleasure . VERY educational tour!! The scenic drive was amazing. So glad we had such wonderful weather too. Lot of history in Kosovo area. You MUST visit both Prizren and Pristina. We had a wonderful visit to Kosovo with Vlado. The day went very well and exceeded all of our expectations. Vlado is probably the nicest and most interesting of the guides that we encountered on our trip to North Macedonia. He is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He worked with us to make sure that all of our expectations for the tour were met. I recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning more about Kosovo with a guide is professional and a pleasure to spend a day with.

This was a very informative and interesting trip to Kosovo, including visits to the two major cities and a beautiful orthodox church. The best part of the trip was the knowledgeable guide, who gave us insights into both the history of the region and current life in the Western Balkans. Having a private tour made it feel very relaxed and we could stop at any time if we wanted to explore more. However, the tour also involves quite a lot of driving.
Vlado managed to arrange two separate day trips for me - one to Ohrid and one to Kosovo. Both guides went out of there way to show me around and were super flexible and accommodating. Extra bonus was been taken to some extra sites and also accommodating a drop off at Matka Canyon. Also communication via WhatsApp was great.
