Colorful Tetovo and beautiful Matka Canyon at Treska River

The tour includes visit of Tetovo and Canyon Matka, a mix of culture and relaxation in beautiful nature, right outside of Skopje. Tetovo is nestled in a valley, surrounded by Shara Mountain, where the first Ski Center in Macedonia was founded back in the days. It's also home of the most delicious Macedonian apples and white beans. This old town is lined with jewelry shops, old-fashioned tailor shops and boutiques selling traditional clothes, which we will drive by. Our only stop in this town will be visiting the most famous colourful 15th-century mosque known as Sarena Dzamija. After visiting Tetovo, we will head to Matka, the canyon where Vrelo Cave is, is not only famous for the amazing and vivid landscape, but also for the diversity of butterflies that live there. Over a hundred "day type" and over hundreds of "night type" butterflies, make this hidden place even more spectacular to visit. To fully experience the beauty of the canyon, we will take a boat ride to Vrelo Cave.
