Hamjambo!. . . . ……. (Hello). I am Kabiru, a Kenyan native, resident and a professional guide. I grew up in the Northern part of Kenya, Laikipa, an area rich in cultures and wildlife, which prepared me and brought about my passion for adventure. I'm also a graduate in Tourism Studies from the University of Nairobi, as well an Environmental Policy student focusing on maintaining our tourism eco-systems. I have a special attachment and attention to our authentic cultural diversity. In this, I have also over the past years involved myself with research and conservation activities with organizations including; Trust for African Rock art, as a community cultural coordinator, National Museums of Kenya as a researcher, Nature Kenya in ornithology (birding) and Kenya Wildlife service as a volunteer. By currently residing in Nairobi, I live just at the borderline of Nairobi National Park and thus a member of Friends of Nairobi National Park. I am passionate about traveling and take pride in guiding someone else around my beautiful country. As a solo camper and hitch-hiker, I have transversed my country and the East African region quite extensively. I must say that 'Magical Kenya' has so much to offer, you will need numerous trips to explore it all. However, it's no doubt that within your short visits, I can guide you to a glimpse of what our country has to offer to which you'll definitely fall in Love with Kenya. Whether you are looking for luxurious lodges, tented camps or basic campsites, Kenya has quite a well-developed tourism infrastructure and superstructure. Our transport network is great as well to ensure an easy access to attractions and destinations. Although Kenya has different climatic conditions, in different places at different times through the year, we don't have extreme conditions that really discourage travel. It is, however, advisable to consult on the best times to visit depending on destinations of choice. Through research and experience, I'm able and available for consultancy on the best places to visit at which times of the year. It is my pleasure to guide you in most if not all of our attractions to feel the real untamed savanna bush experience - Wildlife viewing, the relaxing sunny, sandy white and lovely - Beach travel, the tough and unforgiving landscapes for - Mountain climbing, the hot unending great plains of the North - Desert Safaris, unimaginable destinations and landscapes - Sightseeing, exclusive hidden gems - Honey-Mooners safaris and the best of aerial experiences -Balloon Safaris and Paragliding amongst others. Not forgetting your safety by ensuring we have the right equipment to conquer terrains as well as service delivery in both guiding and comfortable stays to ensure nothing but the best of memorable experiences. Welcome to Kenya! Karibuni Degree in Tourism from the University of Nairobi Certificate in field studies and research from National Museums of Kenya Silver level tour guide Specializing in Eco-Tourism

Born in the city, raised partly in a city and mostly in upcountry. . . studied in the city, disappeared into the wild parks of Kenya!. . . That's my life in a sentence! Nothing else narrates my life better than the short itinerary from Nairobi to the wild Masai Mara - Nakuru and Naivasha. It brings back memories and realities altogether of which I'll proudly share with you as we're on this adventure. From the sky scrappers, we drive down the Rift Valley escarpment to the fields of life and death in Masai Mara as predators and prey cycle of life happens at your sight. The peaceful villages with busy farmers and traders in bomet; then a dead silent Mau forest before the farms in Njoro; then you see Nakuru city but you'll be lost in Lake Nakuru, a birds and wildlife paradise lost in the past. . . We end this trip on Lake Naivasha, a lake in a flower city. Fishermen, fish eagles, hippos and wild animals you can walk with are all here to beautify your memorable experience.
Day 1: We depart early morning and drive down the Rift Valley floor to Masai Mara National Reserve. We check in at Sarova Mara Game lodge. An evening drive will commence our experience in this magical land. Day 2: We spend the morning and evening enjoying the wildlife of Masai Mara while we'll spend the day enjoying the luxuries of Mara. Day 3: We'll have an early morning drive through the park then come back for breakfast. After breakfast, we depart to Lake Nakuru. We stay at Lion Hill lodge. Day 4: We will have a morning and an evening drive in the park. The bright daytime will be spent swimming and relaxing. Lake Nakuru is a haven for bird species as well as scenic views of the lake from the cliffs around it. Day 5: We have a morning drive to Lake Naivasha. We will have boat rides on Lake Naivasha where one can see hippos and hundreds of birds species at close range. We will then walk with wildlife at Crescent Island. Please remember this itinerary is flexible to suit your other suggestions.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
