4 days Safari to the Meru National Park and Samburu National Reserve

Explore the abundance of natural beauty at Samburu National Reserve during your bush trip to northern Kenya. The reserve offers the diversity of flora and fauna, both large and small, which you can discover in its vast striking and beautiful landscape. Distinct to other backcountry African safari destinations, the wild-arid expanses of Samburu are quite conducive to game drives. Meru National Park features luxuriant jungle, coursing rivers, verdant swamp, khaki grasslands and gaunt termite cathedrals all under the sky's great blue bowl. The reason I personally love this part is it brings you to a little visited and utterly unspoilt spot. Few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here. It's only in these parks will you find the special five animals only found in the northern hemisphere of Kenya (these animals are Zebras, Gerenuks, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffes and Somali Ostrich). Also, a huge number of elephant matriarchs and hundreds of Crocodiles.

Day 1: I will pick you up at the airport or your hotel for a safari to Samburu with a short stopover in Meru for lunch. Proceed to Meru National Park for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay in your camp/lodge. Day 2: This day will be spent exploring the beautiful attractions including the big game, special five, birdlife and rivers. Return back to camp for dinner and overnight stay. Day 3: After breakfast we will drive to Samburu National Reserve for a full day game drive. Awesome animals, Ewaso Nyiro, views of Ololokwe Mountain, Buffallo springs. Dinner and overnight stay at your camp. Day 4: We will proceed to a Samburu Village. Later on we will have a lunch stopover in Nanyuki and a short demonstration as we cross the equator to the Southern Hemisphere. We will arrive in Nairobi early evening where I will drop you at your hotel or at JKIA airport. Please remember this itinerary is flexible. I will be happy to customise the tour for you!
