This multi-day single park safari to the Mara is meant to give you an exclusive and personal experience of the Mara ecosystem. It is designed to take place around the time the wildebeest, zebras and other ungulates cross the Mara River back to Kenya. This is designed to be as insightful, informative and experiential as possible. I love this package for its quick jump into adventure and the intensity it provides within a very short time. We will take breaks to experience the rites of passage and other ways of life among the Maasai community as well as learn first hand the local challenges to conservation in the Mara ecosystem. This tour is great for ecologists, wildlife lovers, photographers, students or anybody with passion for wildlife and innate cultures but with limited time for this adventure.
Day 1 - Nairobi-Masai Mara, 4. 5 hrs Pick up from Nairobi, slowly while enjoying views of the Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch, rest and maybe a game drive or afternoon camp. Day 2 - Full day in the Mara, 8 hrs Doing what we do best: enjoy and experience nature. We will visit the notorious crossing points for photo sessions and great sightings too. Day 3 - 3 hrs village and 2 hrs evening game drive Morning community visit to experience the Masai rite of passage where Moran or warriors get their blessings and show their sophisticated ways. We then break for lunch followed by wildlife tracking and viewing in the afternoon. Day 4 - Masai Mara-Nairobi, 4 hrs Easy morning game drive followed by lunch and then departure back to Nairobi. And if you have any special interests or wishes, I will be happy to customise this tour for you!

I use very clean latest model Toyota land-cruiser off road. The vehicle is air conditioned and also has a pop up roof to allow for free circulation of air inside it as well as visibility and the ease to take photos and interact with the environment freely.
