My name is Jihad, and I’m a licensed Jordanian tour guide, proudly born and raised in Petra. Jordan is not simply a country I guide in—it is my home. Sharing its history, culture, landscapes, and traditions with travelers from around the world is something I genuinely love. I have been a registered member of the Jordan Tour Guides Association (JTGA) since 2011, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of welcoming guests from many different countries and helping them experience the Jordan beyond the usual guidebook. Growing up in Petra gave me a special connection to one of Jordan’s greatest treasures. I know its famous monuments, but I also love sharing the stories, archaeology, traditions, trails, viewpoints, and lesser-known places that can turn a visit into something much more personal. But Jordan is much more than Petra. From the Roman ruins of Jerash and the biblical landscapes of Madaba and Mount Nebo to the dramatic desert of Wadi Rum and the relaxing waters of the Dead Sea, Jordan offers an incredible variety of experiences. Whether you are interested in archaeology, history, religion, hiking, photography, food, Bedouin culture, or simply taking your time and enjoying the journey, I can help you experience Jordan in a way that fits you.
