I am Jihad, and I am an English language licensed tour guide in Jordan. I am an Arabic man with a Palestinian heart & a Jordanian soul! I grew up in the desert of Kuwait & I am independent since childhood age. My tourism experience is in all kinds of tours such as adventure, hiking, historical, cultural, religious & recreational tours. I am a university graduate, and I have chosen to be a tour guide because I love outdoor work & meeting people. My life experience comes from traveling, meeting people, work experience, & the most important is reading all kind of books, especially the Arabic books. Jordan is a holy land where most of the prophets have been, & this region, in general, is where human civilization started. I do love playing chess, so if you want to lose bring your chess with you!! I do like swimming, walking, reading, traveling and I do some martial arts. The tourists call me the Legend!! Maybe because I do love my work and I know how to run the tour in a smooth and happy way. Visit the super main sites & places of Jordan in two days and with a very reasonable price. One of the seven wonders in the world, with me in Petra is different when having the best trail around the site, I shall give you a brief history about the Nabatian civilization. Wadi Rum. where many movies have been made in unique desert & mountain landscape And, we'll take an overnight stop at Bedouin Camp, and you will have a night in a Bedouin tent, eat traditional food and watch the shooting stars!! - Visit Wadi Mujib, where visitors can experience the beautiful adventure of hiking in a wet trail canyon. These trails both offer spectacular scenery surrounded by very different conditions for canyoning, I will be your canyoning guide if need it. If the Mujib valley closed ( depending on whether or water level) then we can do the Dead sea. we will have a chance to float in the Dead Sea which is rich in minerals, and cover your body with natural mud!!
Jihad was an amazing guide. He is so knowledgeable and personable. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great trip. Jihad provided interesting pieces of information about our surroundings and the culture throughout the trip. He also made sure everything went smoothly, managing the time and pace of the tour so we didn’t have to deal with the crowds. We had a great time and would recommend Jihad to anyone traveling to Jordan!
This was one of the best tours I have ever gone on! Jihad was absolutely amazing!! We chose to go see Petra, Wadi Rum, Wadi Mujib and the Dead Sea!! I highly recommend visiting each site. Jihad was full of information on the history of Petra, took awesome pictures and provided friendly company. The accommodations in Wadi Rum (Boudoir tent) was perfect. We had a fabulous meal and danced with other guests and staff. Wadi Mujib is a definite!! And of course, you must swim in the Dead Sea!!
Jihad took our group of six people on a fantastic two day tour of Wadi Rum and Petra. He is very fun and engaging with a wealth of knowledge about present-day Jordan and it's long and fascinating history. Jihad helped us develop the tour that interested our diverse group (we wanted a mix of history and nature). He even went the extra mile to help one of our group obtain a Jordanian visa prior to arrival. I would recommend Jihad to anyone visiting Jordan.
Jihad was our private tour guide in Jordan for three days in Oct. 2019. Jihad always has a broad smile on his face, kind, punctual, accommodating and tries his very best to cover the important sites. He is very knowledgeable and suggested Aqaba and incorporated it in our tour. He would not leave before making sure our overnight reservations were in place. My wife and myself spent four days with Jihad in Petra and other parts of Jordan. For us, Jihad was the perfect guide, one who not only knows the history and facts about the places and sites he was showing us, but also intelligent and knowledgeable on a wide range of topics, able to offer a broad perspective on his country's current affairs and social structure. He was also be an enjoyable companion, good fun to be with for four days. We can't recommend him highly enough.
