I have been a registered member of the Jordan Tour Guides Association (JTGA) since 2011, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of welcoming guests from many different countries and helping them experience the Jordan beyond the usual guidebook. Growing up in Petra gave me a special connection to one of Jordan’s greatest treasures. I know its famous monuments, but I also love sharing the stories, archaeology, traditions, trails, viewpoints, and lesser-known places that can turn a visit into something much more personal. But Jordan is much more than Petra. From the Roman ruins of Jerash and the biblical landscapes of Madaba and Mount Nebo to the dramatic desert of Wadi Rum and the relaxing waters of the Dead Sea, Jordan offers an incredible variety of experiences.
