Visit Amman's downtown market and city center, it's traditional souks, coffee shops, restaurants selling local food and sweets, we will have the local experience and introduce the local day life for the people of Amman, during driving we will see the churches and mosques amongst other popular places. Amman is also the ancient city of Philadelphia with its Roman Theater and many other monuments such as the Citadel. Go down over the city from Amman's impressive hilltop Citadel, a series of ancient buildings, including the splendid Umayyad Palace, believed to be built on the site of the world's earliest fortifications. The Citadel's National Archaeology Museum displays some of the cultural treasures.
He was a fantastic guide! He had great recommendations for historical sites and wonderful commentary. Our favorite part of the tour was trying our different street foods and a restaurant that is now one of our all-time favorites. We would love to do another tour with him one day.
Wael and his driver were prompt, courteous, respectful, professional, and both had an outstanding sense of humor. I enjoyed my time with them very much. The walk through the downtown souks, along with the delicious culinary treats, was sensory overload! The citadel, theater, and mosque were equally as beautiful. Wael's knowledge was impeccable. I highly recommend him for this half day tour of Amman. Thank you!
Wael is incredibly knowledgeable and very articulate. More importantly though he is a lovely person to spend time with. He is easy going, funny, thoughtful, and engaging. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
