Hi ! My name is Masa. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. I'm a bit old man, but thank god I'm fine and healthy. I'm ready and happy to help you enjoy Japan. I live in Fukuoka City. It is located in northern part of Kyushu Island, one of the four main islands and southernmost island in Japan. Fukuoka faces the ocean and is located very close to continent China and Korea., so from ancient times Fukuoka has been a gateway to continent Asia and a region of active overseas exchange. And now Fukuoka has developed into a modern big city having the population of 1.66 million people. There are many sightseeing spots here in Fukuoka. You can enjoy old and modern Fukuoka at the same time. And you can also enjoy local specialties like Motsunabe or offal hotpot, ramen noodles at Yatai stall, and of course fresh seafood. I used to work for a news agency, Kyodo News Service, as a staff writer for over 40 years. As a reporter I covered and wrote many articles on a wide range of topics from murder cases to trials, elections, politics, volcanic eruptions and even an airplane accident. Maybe I could share some of my experiences with you. I can manage a large group, as well. Please let me know if your group is more than 10. I'm looking forward to welcoming you all!
