Hello! Thank you for reading my profile. My name is Hitomi. I lived in foreign countries for over 8 years, such as US, Canada, France, Australia, Singapore and Spain. I love traveling like you do. Besides traveling, I enjoy drawing, painting, cycling, cooking and eating delicious food! I was born in Kagoshima, grew up in Miyazaki and now live in Fukuoka(all in Kyushu island!). What I love about Kyushu island is that people are friendly, it's not too crowded and the nature is beautiful. And most importantly the food is delicious! We have fresh fish, seafood, meat and so many kinds of delicious dishes! I got my guide license in 2017 and I've been working as a guide since. I love this job because I get to meet people from all over the world. Learning new languages and getting touch with other cultures inspires me. I find every tour is different and unique, and for me this job is very challenging and fun! My wish is simple that you go home with lots good and fun memories. Please let me be a part of it! I am a national certified guide. I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

In this tour you will visit iconic sites in Nagasaki by public transportation. We visit Atomic bomb museum, Ground Zero and Peace park. They are all located in the same area. Let's take a bus to the downtown area to have lunch at a local restaurant. My recommendation is Chanpon noodle or Sara-Udon. We walk to Spectacle bridge(a historical stone bridge over Nakashima river) and take some photos there. Let's find a heart shaped stone on the stone wall there. We take a streetcar again to go to our final destination, Glover garden which was designated as a world heritage in 2015. There are also many shops on the way to the garden. *Important notice- This tour starts at 10:30 or 11:00AM (I can't come earlier than 10:30am because I live far from the city. If you wish to start the tour before 10:30am, please kindly pay my accomodation fee on top of the tour fee.) *Nagasaki is a very hilly city and most of the sites are located on a hill. Please consider using a taxi if you have difficulty walking.

We enjoyed our tour with Hitomi. She’s a very nice person and professional. We spent 2 days exploring Nagasaki with her and felt we got a good overview of the city. Her bio says she is conversational English but our group, of 4 people, all felt that she should consider herself as fluent in English. She is very easy to understand and speaks English very well. She is very pleasant and accommodating.
Hitomi made my Nagasaki trip one of the best portions of my Japan experience. Kind, knowledgeable, and punctual - she showed me all of the important places in the area and being that she's from Kyushu, she is the definition of a local. We had a nice lunch together as well, and she helped me order in Japanese. A very authentic guide - highly recommended.
Hitomi was excellent! She met us at the cruise terminal and then we had an interesting and fun day. We enjoyed learning about Nagasaki, taking public transportation and eating at a local restaurant where we were the only tourists. A terrific day with a terrific guide.
We very much enjoyed our port day with Hitomi. We chose her "Exotic Nagasaki Private Tour" and highly recommend her for touring highlights in Nagasaki. It was truly a wonderful day thanks to her being our guide. We have some minor mobility issues and requested a driver, which she arranged with a private taxi. This allowed us to be taken close to the sites we visited. The day started sunny, but she noted possible rain in the afternoons, so she rearranged the day and we started at Mt Inasa for spectacular views of the harbor and city. Then to the Atomic Bomb Museum (very moving) and the Peace Park, giving us history of the museum. Time for a "local" lunch and it was great. The afternoon started with a stroll through the mall for local flavor of shopping and then to the Suwa Shrine and finally, Glover Garden, starting at the top and walking down to the main house. Thank you Hitomi for making our day in Nagasaki so wonderful. Joe & Theresa
Hitomi is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a tour of Nagasaki. We start after our Atomic museum tour, and we wnt to Dejima and then to Chinatown, a Chinese restaurant for Chompon noodle very nice. We went to Gover garden thereafter and she help us navigate the way well. We also went to the spectacle bridge and short walk to the tram and ended a very nice tour. Its a casual and nice day with Hitomi. We wouldnt know how to navigate the town but she made it so easy. So thankful she also help us take care of our 9 year old.
