I’m a passionate local guide, and my tours are built around the hidden beauty of Kyoto, where the charm is found in small details, rather than in a plain sight, and my job is to help you see them clearly and experience Kyoto to its fullest.
Although I am new on the platform, I have years of guiding experience, which turned into a passion of meeting and connecting with lots of awesome people around the World. It is always a pleasure to help others “peek into” the local culture and experience it from an insider’s perspective.
With my IR background and interests in historical, religious and cultural studies, I focus on explaining the patterns behind what you see, how history, beliefs, and daily life connect.
I specialize in Kyoto, Osaka and Nara, taking guests through must-see sights and the quieter streets most guests overlook. But it doesn’t stop there - throughout many years in Japan, I have developed a big interest in all sorts of Japanese foods and help people experience the beauty in Japanese cuisine, finding the best spots for foods such as Okonomiyaki, Gyoza, Katsudon, Seafood and so many others.
Every tour is flexible, I adjust the pace to the group, and go deeper or lighter depending on your curiosity and energy. No scripts and no rushing to help you make the most out of your time here in Japan.
