Kyoto Must-See Places - Private Tour

Lamine was amazing! My husband and adult daughter and her boyfriend all enjoyed him so much. We had a private driver and a beautiful van that took us to many highlights of Kyoto! Lamine was friendly, funny and full of information. We learned so much and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I recommend Lamine to anyone new to Kyoto that wants to see as much as possible in a short period of time and get the layout of the city. Additionally 2 days later we WhatsApped Lamine to ask him where to watch the Japan team play in the Wordl Cup and he quickly responded with a few bar recommendations which we used to see Japan beat Tunisia! Lamine was an incredibly thoughtful, energetic, and knowledgeable tour guide. My parents are over 80 years old and my dad has significant mobility concerns. Lamine took such good care of them, including renting an electronic wheelchair. Lamine’s English is also impeccable and easily understood by all ages. He also helped us make reservations for dinner the following night, even though our tour ended the prior day. I would not hesitate to book with him in the future!

Lamine was waiting for us at the station and was a wonderful guide, and we enjoyed the private car arrangement and helpful driver Kazuma. We got to see many more places than would be practical by public transport. The weather was wet so again the car was a nice respite from that. Lamine selected a great place to stop in the market for a delicious tempura meal. Lamine told us much of the history of the places we visited and answered all our (many) questions. Lamine also provided some helpful suggestions for our following day in Osaka too. Highly recommended!!

Lamine was informative, spoke english well, and made the tour fun. I would definitely recommend him for your visit to Kyoto and surrounding areas. He has lived in Japan most of his life and is extremely well informed in the culture and history.

We had a great time with our guide Lamile discovering Kyoto. He was very informative of the history of the city, helpful and accommodating to our needs. We didn’t feel pressure and kept the tour at our pace.. Would recommend.
