I have been giving tours since 2002 to English and French speaking clients from all over the world. I also worked as an employee at the Lecce Municipality tourist info point for 17 years which has given me a wide perspective of my region from both an institutional and a touristic point of view… I have been usually involved in giving Institutional tours to Representatives (Ministers, Ambassadors and so on) during their official visits and in giving shore , private, customized and small group tours. I work mainly in the south-center part of the region, which comprises the Salento and Itria valley areas, providing tours of LECCE, OTRANTO, LEUCA, GALLIPOLI, GALATINA, OSTUNI, ALBEROBELLO, POLIGNANO, LOCOROTONDO, CISTERNINO, BRINDISI and other beautiful smaller villages in the same area. Half day, full day, multi day, landscape, food and wine and customized tours are provided according to your needs and tastes. I am in love with this area and during tours I strive to transmit that same love and passion to my clients. This part of Apulia is mostly sea, sun, sights, traditions and TASTY MEDITERRANEAN FOOD!!! Then, the question is "What are you waiting for…???!!!" Come and visit this part of Italy with me… I will help you visit the main attractions, to learn our history and culture and most of all to immerse yourself in our traditions living what locals live and eating what locals eat. I like giving my clients a vision of Apulia from a local guy point of view including also workshops, food and wine tastings and farmhouse's experiences during my services. I always help visitors with my personal recommendations on what to explore (places) and where to reserve (places to eat) after my tours. In other words I do my best to help you discover the heart and soul of this beautiful part of the region. Overview of your Lecce tour
I will make you live a memorable day where you will discover not only great sights, but also some spectacular views and tasteful flavours that only a local guide can make you experience! This morning walking tour includes the visit of the spectacular historic center of the town also named "The gate to the east". A breathtaking visit to the Cathedral mosaic (one of the largest in Europe), as well as the visit to the altar that contains the bones and skulls of the marthyrs. You will be also amazed by the byzantine beauties of the St. Peter Basilica and then you can enjoy a nice break on the Otranto waterfront. In the afternoon we visit Lecce, "the Florence of the south". What else to add? This walking tour is lead along the streets of the historic center of the town, adorned by beautiful baroques style churches and rococo buildings. Join me and discover these amazing places!

Lecce: - Pass by Naples Gate. - Stop at Duomo Square, Cathedral and Bishop Palace (from outside unless you pay Cathedral's entrance fee). - Visit St. Irene. - Stop at St. Claire Church, Roman Theatre (from outside unless you pay church's entrance fee). - Photo stop in St. Oronzo Square, Roman Amphiteater. - Holy Cross Basilica and Celestini Building (from outside, photo stop, unless you pay Basilica's entrance fee) - Foodies tasting ( rustico , pasticciotto and Leccese coffée).
