I'm Carlo, an authorized tourist guide for passion. I know Apulia wery well, having studied thoroughly its history, art, tradition, environment and curiosities. I was born in Apulia and always lived here, in a family that always cultivates the study of local history (a hall in the archeological museum of Brindisi is named after my grandfather). I have over ten year of experience as guide. I'm specialized in city tours but I can also make day trip outside the city. I can also customize your tours. Apulia is a charming region that can be visited all year round and is suspended among nature, history, tradition, tastes and spirituality. Apulia offers a wide range of places that testify to the ancient origins of this land: from prehistory to Magna Graecia, from the Imperial Age to the Renaissance and the Baroque splendor. The trulli, for example those of Valle d'Itria, offer an evocative testimony to the rural past of the region. My goal as your guide is to help you fall in love with this region. Please keep in mind that I can plan an itinerary according to your specific needs and wishes and before or after the tour I will be happy to provide you with necessary information and help anytime you need. Come join me and let's explore the amazing Apulia together! - Tourist Guide - qualified in Italian, English and Spanish - "Regione Puglia" Government License. - Law degree

I love Lecce, a truly elegant city full of history. Lecce is my home, the city where my father's family comes from and where I attended high school. The surprising baroque facades of its noble palaces, and the richly detailed architecture of its churches, make Lecce a city to be explored. I live a few kilometers from Lecce, where whenever I have the opportunity, I go to enjoy its atmosphere and its rich cultural life. Lecce, sometimes called the Florence of the South, is the main city on southern Puglia's Salento Peninsula and one of the top places to go in Puglia. It became the center for the ornate architecture called the Barocco Leccese and the city is filled with Baroque monuments. The historic center of Lecce is compact, making it a great place for walking and its restaurants offer abundant fine food typical of Puglia. Also notable are traditional handicrafts, especially the art of paper mache.
We will visit: - Piazza del Duomo, or Cathedral Square - The Roman Amphitheater - Sant'Oronzo Square Church of Santa Chiara, famous for its ceiling with paper mache' decorations. - Basilica of Santa Croce, richly decorated facade and is considered the emblem of the city. - The Castle of Charles V built in the 16th century. I'm ready to customize your day in Lecce, relying on my long experience as a tour guide
