Etna in a vintage car

Leaving from Catania with our vintage car we will drive in scenic roads that crosses millenial lava eruption to reach Etna south side, quote 6. 300 feets to discover the Silvestri craters, mouth that formed after the eruption of 1892 along a radial fracture on wich 5 eruptive cones were set: we will walk around one of this exinct craters to look around the incredible landascape characterized by a sea of black volcanic stone, little cones, wild vegetation and the golf of Catania over the Ionian sea. After the walk in Etna slopes we will drive and reach the nice city of Zafferana, the capital of honey production, where we will stop in a winery close to 1992 eruption for having a tasting of 4 different Etna wines and typical local products. A visit to an organic honey farm will be our last stop before going back to Catania.
