Failte. . . . . (Welcome). My name is Denis and I am from Killarney, where I have lived and worked for most of my life. Having worked in hospitality for many years, I decided to set up my own Taxi/Taxi Tours business in 2001, which I have run successfully ever since. I lived in the U. K. for 8 years working and studying in London where I completed a part-time degree course in Business Management & HR at Hammersmith & West London College. I volunteer with the Irish Red Cross as a driver and Emergency First Responder (EFR) and assist in providing medical cover for many sporting, social and cultural events. In my youth, I was very active in sports and played gaelic football, soccer and basketball as well as competing in Athletics in both track and field events. I now enjoy playing golf and am a keen sports fan with an interest in most sports. I also enjoy walking and rambling in the hills and love spending time by the ocean. With over 20 years experience of touring, and many more in the hospitality sector, all my tours are designed and delivered based on what works well for people and on the feedback I get from my clients, as to what they have enjoyed most. Leaving Killarney we climb the hill at Aghadoe to view the deep blue glacial lakes, with the green tree covered mountains behind before we head west through lush green farmland where cattle and sheep graze peacefully. Driving through Killorglin town you will hear a story of its 400 year old fair. Further along the landscape changes as we get our first sight of the rugged Atlantic coastline. As we drive I will tell you the history of the area and its people and teach you some words and phrases "as Gaeilge" in the Irish language. Rolling hills, secluded coves, ancient forts, long sandy beaches and an abundance of colour supplied by the many wild plants and flowers that thrive in the almost sub-tropical climate on the peninsula ensure that there is a feast for the eyes around every corner. Valentia Island, Skellig Ring and Kerry Cliffs are the highlight of most people's trip but with a vast array to choose from and lots of fun and laughter along the way everybody takes away treasured memories of their tour wit
We had an amazing day. Our guide was professional and courteous. After speaking with us he made the tour to things we would like to see and do and spoke to us about things that were interesting to us. We had an amazing lunch in a small fishing village, went shopping, saw the Ring and many other things . Our highlights were the sheepdogs and holding lambs .
We really enjoyed our multiple day tour with Denis, and we are glad we didn’t drive the beautiful windy roads on our own. Sometimes it’s best to leave it to the professionals! We had a wonderful time touring the Ring of Kerry with Denis. The weather did not cooperate at all (heavy fog and rain) but we made the most of what the day had to offer! Highlights were a sheep dog demonstration (so great!) and a really nice lunch at Portmagee. We hope to return again for another try at seeing the lovely scenery and coastline when the weather cooperates more. Thanks Denis for a lovely day! We highly recommend doing a tour with Denis. He is an excellent guide and fun to spend the day with!

Most importantly, Dennis was a great driver. We felt safe with him behind the wheel on the narrow and twisty roads. He did an excellent job of showing us beautiful sites and places of interest on the ring of Kerry and ring of skellig. Dennis brought a perfect balance between providing information and giving a local’s perspective while allowing us time as a family to relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. The highlight of the tour was a visit to the spectacular cliffs of Kerry! The sheepdog demonstration was also very enjoyable. Lunch at his recommended pub in port Magee included the best fish and chips in Ireland so far. We appreciated seeing the “must do” things in the area but the many stops to view the sites or do something of interest to us was such a treat. For example, we told him we enjoyed golf so he took us to one of the most beautiful links courses. Great value too!
