Dingle Peninsula & Slea Head Drive - Private Tour

This is a full-day private tour of the stunning Dingle Peninsula and the famous Slea Head Drive. The tour showcases the breathtaking natural scenery of this unique region, with its rugged coastline, rolling green hills, and dramatic ocean views. Along the way, you will visit important prehistoric sites, including the remarkable Gallarus Oratory and traditional Beehive Huts, offering a fascinating glimpse into Ireland’s early history. The tour also includes stops at some of the area’s beautiful beaches, where you can enjoy the unspoiled coastal surroundings. Time is allowed for a walk through Dingle town, renowned for its colourful streets, craft shops, excellent restaurants, and welcoming pubs. You will enjoy spectacular views of the Blasket Islands and the vast Atlantic Ocean, as well as a memorable drive through the scenic Connor Pass. Additional stop-offs include a visit to a local farm and the historic Ballyseedy Castle.

Collection will be at your accommodation in Killarney. We will travel through Miltown and Castlemaine to the Dingle Peninsula and our first stop will be Inch Beach for a stroll. -We will then drive along the cliff road to Dingle. -We will ivisit the Beehive Huts which are early christian settlements dating back to the 6th Century. -We will then stop at Slea Head and Coomenoule Beach. From here we can view the famous Blasket Islands. -On to Clogher Strand and Gallarus Oratory which is an old Irish monastic church dating back to the 6th Century. -We stop off at Dingle Town which has a magnificent array of quaint shops, galleries, restaurants and Irish pubs. -After this stop we drive through the Connor Pass, before a stop at Ballyseedy Castle and then returning to your accommodation in Killarney.
