In my 20 odd years touring Ireland as a guide, my favourite of all tours is this one. Green fields, white sandy beaches and the rugged Wild Atlantic Way. Sheep, seagulls, donkeys and Dingle harbour which even has its own resident dolphin called 'fungie'. Dingle which is a beautiful colourful town with quirky shops and some great restaurants serving the best of seafood. Then on towards Slea Head where some of the filming of 'Ryan's Daughter' took place. There are amazing views onto the Blasket Islands in the Atlantic ocean, & they say on a day with good visibility you can see the statue of liberty! You will hear all about my childhood summers spent here learning 'gaelic' as this is one of the few parts of Ireland where people speak it. We will visit Gallarus Oratory and hear all about St Brendan's voyage. . . he discovered America before Columbus. We return via Camp & stunning views of Tralee Bay.
This is one of the best day trips we’ve ever taken and Mary was the guide to do the job. This is an extraordinary peninsula and I’m very glad to have chosen it for my husband and me over the Ring of Kerry. While it was unfortunate that the weather didn’t entirely cooperate, Mary knew the unique places to include and the areas where very few tourists were visiting. I highly recommend taking this tour with Mary.

Mary is able to mix history with beautiful scenery with personal stories to make places like Dingle really come alive. This while driving us safely on the most narrow roads ever to out of the way spots.

Mary took us to the most beautiful places. She was filled with knowledge and so helpful to meet our expectations of the Dingle area. The Dingle Crystal factory was one our favorites along with holding the baby lambs. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, I would recommend Mary at a +10 .

-Depart Killarney in the morning and travel via the southern coast of the Dingle Peninsula towards 'Inch' beach where we will have our first stop. -We will then continue on westwards along the coast for a time with stunning views of the Ring of Kerry across the Bay. -Then we veer inland and pass through some very colourful villages on our way to the fishing port of Dingle. -Stop and visit of Dingle and then on towards the most dramatic of the days scenery at 'Slea Head Drive'. -Visit to 'Gallarus Oratory' before continuing on our return journey via the Connor pass with stunning views onto Tralee Bay. The itinerary can be customized even while on tour! In case you have any particular interest, let me know so we can adapt it!
