Hello, My name is Val. I've been living in Cork, Ireland all my life. I am a Cork local and there is no part of Cork and county I am not familiar with. I specialize in tours ranging from Cobh Port where all cruise liners stop over. I do tours to the beautiful sceneries of Kinsale, to Blarney Castle, where you can kiss the Blarney Stone, Jameson Distillery Experience in Midleton and all through Cork City, where we can stop to see the Shandon Bells and everything else it has to offer. I also do the ring of Kerry, Cliffs of Moher & the Rock of Cashel. I have an 9 seater passenger vehicle which is also wheelchair friendly. Come with me to explore the panoramic views of County Cork with luscious green rolling hills, and I'll share a brief history of what the county can provide. A visit to Ireland would not be complete without exploring the great places Cork is comprised of. I am very accommodating on these tours, if any of these tours need to be amended/ changed for the suitability of my customers, I am more than happy to accommodate and ensure you get the best value from the tours you want to see. Looking forward to our tour, Val. Holder of a Public Service Drivers License issued by The National Transport Authority of Ireland. Qualified Driver/ Guide (Badged) Qualified in First Aid. None.

Overview of your Cork tour

Did you know that the Blarney Castle originally dates from before the 12th Century? It has beautiful stone fortifications, accessible rooms and battlements, and it's surrounded with gorgeous extensive gardens which in and of themselves present various attractions such as several natural rock formations. At the top of the castle lies the Stone of Eloquence - better known as the Blarney Stone. Here, you'll be able to hang upside down over a sheer drop to kiss the stone (which is said to give you the gift of eloquence). There are paths touring the grounds that lead to the Blarney House, which overlooks a nearby lake. Enjoy an idyllic day in the beautiful Blarney village and venture exploring the Blarney Castle and its grounds, before returning to Cork City for further exploration of our culture!

Val was absolutely great!!! He is knowledgeable, fun, and accommodating. Our group absolutely loved Val. With the rain he was able to make the changes last minute to make sure our experience was not hindered from the weather. We highly recommend Val if you are ever in Cork!!

Val was voted best and funniest tour guide by our group of 5 adults. He was very funny in addition to being a font of knowledge. He personalized our tour and pick up spot making it very easy for us to see what we wanted. He timed our visit to Blarney Castle with real knowledge so we avoided a long wait. He had us into the Jameson Distillery and all together the day trip was fantastic. We highly recommend Val.
