Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary - We start early morning and drive 13Kms to Sukuna, the entry point of the sanctuary. The main attraction are the Indian Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, Indian Bison, Black Bear, Spotted Dear and many more. There are also more than 300 species of Birds including some of the rare ones like Rufous-necked Hornbill and Himalayan Pied Hornbill. The Coronation Biridge - It was named to commemorate the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937 and was completed in 1941and is a magnificent example of British engineering. Salagura Monastery - It is a 100ft hollow Chorten or Stupa which was bulit by one of the renowned master of Tibetian meditation, Kalu Rimpoche. ISCKON temple - Also known as Hare Krishna Movement, this temple is the biggest Krishna center in the whole of the Northeast India.
