Overview of your Darjeeling tour
Nestled beneath the foothills of Himalayas, surrounded by endless fields of emerald green tea plantations, that's where you find Darjeeling. We will walk through the picturesque town with a magnificent view of the peaks of Kanchandzonga towering over this beautiful town, surrounded with natural beauties, ancient forests and unusual houses. I will take you to the Tea plantation, that was established during British Raj and now it's the Pride of Darjeeling. Hiking around this heritage evergreen tea plantation will be a memorable experience where we will be interacting with local people which will share with you their life at tea plantation. We will also be tasting the local cuisine in a family home. Being local is what I believe is a perfect way to explore.
Your Darjeeling tour itinerary
- We will Start our tour from your hotel up to a local restaurant (walk 15 to 20 mins) where we will have breakfast. - After Breakfast, we will take a walk from town area to the tea plantation (30 to 45 mins of walk) and witness the processing of tea, hike around tea plantation and witness day to day life of tea workers. - Lunch at local house, this will be a complete traditional local food and later enjoy Tea Tasting. - Later at evening we'll take a walk (45 to 60 mins) back to hotel.
