Hello! My name is Katerina and I live with my family on Spetses island. I love long walks, cooking, and any kind of art. I Studied Tourism Management at the University of West Attica and I have been working in Tourism Industry for more than 7 years. I was always passionate about the history of Spetses island. After studying books, receiving knowledge from old local people by sharing their stories, and exploring the hidden gems of the island, I decided to share all those beautiful things from my point of view. Some people claim that the name "Spetses" comes from the Italian "Isola di Spezia" - (The island of perfumes). Together we can explore this fragrant place and give you a taste of a local experience. I would be more than excited to introduce you the heroes of this place, storytelling you about its development and how this island is strongly connected with art and culture. We can also taste together greek authentic local delicacies and learn everything about them. •Tourism Management Degree - University of West Attica •English- Proficiency ECPE Michigan Certificate •Russian- A2 Certificate "МГУ имени М.В. Ломоносова" •French - A1 DELF Certificate I am not a licensed guide I can only offer walking tours

Every time I had the chance to see Spetses roundly by sea, I would always think that its shape looks like lace(!). That is because Spetses is full of small magical gulfs! My favorite part of this place is its big number of hidden beaches and the turquoise sea water. The island is full of pine trees, even very close to the coasts(!) something very rare for Greece. Also, a small secret is that beaches that cannot be reached on foot, are the most wonderful! If you are planning to visit Spetses for a small period of time, this is the ideal- complete island experience: We will explore the center of Spetses and connect with the history behind it. We'll learn about local historical personalities and facts, such as: -Laskarina Bouboulina and her role during the Greek War of Independence of 1821 -Sotirios Anargiros - the benefactor of the island and how his actions developed his homeland. Finally, we'll do the round of the island: 360 degrees of enchanting view, with comfort and privacy!
✓We will start from the meeting point, at Poseidonion Square, under Bouboulina's Statue. -There, we are going to stay for a while and learn about her life and her big offer during the Greek War of Independence, 1821. -Learn about the great building of the Posedonion Grand Hotel. -Then, we will walk to the statue of Sotirios Anargiros (The benefactor of Spetses) and will see his manor house from the outside. ✓We will continue to the port, embarking in a private sea taxi, starting the round of the Island -We will admire the beauty of the full of pines beaches such as Zogheria, Aghia Paraskevi, or Aghii Anargiri with the famous Bekiri's Cave -The tour will end at the port of Ntapia, on the same spot we will have embarked. *Please note that the sea taxi won't be able to move only in case of bad weather conditions* The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
