Hello, My name is Marinos. Born and raised in the culture and traditions of this paradise called Crete. Born in the 70s, I still enjoy many activities on this island, such as walking, hiking, swimming, and snorkeling in the marvelous sea. I also cherish the relaxing moments and celebrations with friends and family, which often include Cretan dancing and, of course, indulging in Cretan food and fine Cretan wine (not when I'm driving, of course). I am still thirsty for learning more about the interesting history of this island, where there are many fascinating facts to discover. This thirst for knowledge led me to acquire certification as an executive in thematic tourism enterprises and certification in wine tourism… For now… More to come in the future. . In 2010, this decision led me to make a career change and become a tour leader in my homeland. I am passionate about not just showing glimpses of my country but sharing my enthusiasm with the people who join the tours. To me, they become like family, and I enjoy imparting my knowledge about the culture, history, mythology, flora and fauna, as well as the tastes and flavors of Crete. My goal is to ensure that they experience the island of Crete with all their senses and feel at home by the end of the tour. If you are interested in learning about Crete, its way of life, and its history, which dates back to the first civilization and the birthplace of the Greek god Zeus, or if you want to explore traditional villages and interact with locals, or perhaps you are drawn to the amazing local wineries and want to taste the nectar of Crete, or even learn how to prepare some of our delicious food with one of our cooking lessons—all while traveling in a small group in a comfortable vehicle—then I am here to guide you through these experiences. You can choose from one of our tours or tailor-make your own to suit your preferences and enjoy your stay with friends or family in the paradise of Crete. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience of this amazing island with you. The island of the Gods. CRETE! Certification of Theme Tourism Executive. Certification in wine tourism. Certification in first aid. I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments. I do not have a license to give tours inside the Hermitage Museum
