Dear visitor welcome to France! I have covered many parts of the world but each time the plane flies over the mediterranean sea to land at the Nice airport, I feel I am so lucky to live in a real garden of Eden. You do not agree with me yet? Ok, hop on and fasten your seat belt: I am taking you along the scenic roads and paths of the region to dramatic landscapes, hidden perched medieval villages and all the highlights that made the French Riviera such a unique destination. I am graduate in literature from Nice University and after a long career in different airline companies, I decided to become a certified national Guide ten years ago to share with you my passion for this territory and guess what? I am very involved in the success of your vacation so I take with high consideration your requests and expectations. As the father of two little boys, I feel particularly comfortable with families. I am looking forward to greeting and showing you all the beauty and diversity of southern France. See you soon. Just imagine. . . A long and deep scar in the grey limestone of the mediterranean mountain, drained by an azur line which turn green when the ligh changes. On both banks, almost invisible, people are trying to absorb the all picture, trying to be part of this adventure which started million years ago. You are in the Verdon canyon. To appreciate it I will take you thee through the famous Napoleon road, and then the most scenic routes, with several stops to enjoy the majesty of the site. At the end of the corniche roads you will discover a splendid artificial lake which also mark the begining of the lavender country of Valsensole. In season (june/july), you will enjoy the endless purple field. We won't forget the splendid villages of Provence, which are here stunning and authentic. Many options are possible : bungee, watersports, kayaking, visit of a lavender distillery (see photos). . . let me build the ideal program for you. We can also set up a pic-nic.
You will pass through Grasse and then follow the historic Napoleon road through the mountains Stop in the pictureques high Provence town of Castellane You will take the very unique and scenic route of the Verdon canyon with several photo stops (bungee option). Enjoy a guided tour of Moustiers Sainte Marie and a provencal lunch Drive through the legendary lavender fields of the Valensole plateau (June and July only) - Optional visit of a distillery Outside the lavender season let's have some watersports at the St Croix lake (swimming, kayak, etc. . ) Drive back through the picturesque Green Provence You must be aware that the driving time is important to and from the Verdon.
