Two days Tour of Luxor

We went to Luxor in May of 2026. We hired George as our guide for 2 days - We hit the May heatwave - and George graciously adjusted our schedule to start early (6am) - which I would recommend even if it’s not hot because you can also avoid some of the crowds - We were picked up in a nice van type vehicle- very comfortable with air conditioning and a cooler full of cold drinks - off to a great start - add to this - George is literally a walking encyclopedia when it comes to the history of Egypt, Valley of the Kings, Queens, the Medina and on …. He grew up and still lives in Luxor - so he really is a local. We saw all the things that make Luxor so special, learned a lot AND avoided the 116 midday heat. We also had dinner reservations at the Al Moudira hotel - which was pretty far away from the Hilton where we were staying - and George arranged for us to have a driver pick us up and wait for us while we had dinner and drive us back - which made things very easy - Thank you George ! You made our trip to Luxor fun and memorable.

George was our wonderful guide for both the East and West Bank of Luxor over two days. We are a family of four and we wanted to see as much as possible without our days being too long for our kids (9& 10 years old). George tailored our itinerary, offered very comfortable and reliable transportation and ensured our time in Luxor was packed with exploration. He removed the stress out of our site seeing and replaced it with a huge amount of knowledge, kindness and flexibility. He also organised an onward taxi transfer to the Red Sea afterwards too. Thank you to George for being a wonderful guide and making our time in Luxor incredibly memorable. I would highly recommend George if you’re looking to explore Luxor with a highly knowledgeable guide.

We thoroughly enjoy our time spent with George touring the east bank of Luxor on day one, and the wast bank on day two. He made contact with us the minute we arrived to see if we needed anything and treated us like a guest in his home. With a guide we were able move through the sites efficiently and make the best use of our time. If we needed anything or had any questions George was there to help. I highly recommend him for your guide and please visit Egypt, it is safe and historically amazing.

We had two great days in Luxor with George. Frist day East bank. Second day West bank. This was our first stay in Egypt and George managed to teach us the history and archeology etc in a very well dosed way. A little piece everytime so we where not overwhelmed but understood what we should see everytime and over time learned also learned the bigger picture
