Wonderful tour. If you can spare 3 days this is the way to spend it! Sem was great, it was like a friend taking you around Siem Reap, the Temples and surrounds. He was pleasant, courteous, patient, willing to go the extra mile, more than happy to stay with us well beyond when his day should have ended. We has happy to impart his knowledge of the sites but he was also willing to share information about himself and life in Cambodia. Thank you Sem for making our trip memorable. Vuthy was a wonderful guide witha very well organized itinerary. He was always concerned with our comfort and was able to be flexible and adaptive. We asked to skip a waterfall and substitute a visit to a killing field He instantly made it happen. We also ad libbed with a visit to a tribal farming village and he had no issue with spontaneity. He never rushed us and was always very helpful and most informative about any and all of our questions. He also helped us with photography.
Sem is very knowledgable, very flexible and very personable. He is prepared with ice cold waters and cloths to cool yourself with after walking around in 90+ degree heat. He knows where and how to take all the great photos and he answers all questions knowledgeably. He does a great job in a 3-day tour to show you everything. He is also just fun - great sense of humor and storyteller - which is important for a busy 3-day tour. I would recommend him for any tour and can't thank him enough.
*Day 1: Leave hotel at 8:00am then head to the South gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Phimean Akas, Royal Enclosure, Elephant terrace, Leper king terrace, Tep Preahnom pagoda, and Preah Palilay temple, Ta Prohm ( Tomb Raider ). Lunch break at a local restaurant In the afternoon : Angkor Wat, Sunset on Bakheng mountain. *Day 2: Leaving at 5:00am to watch sunrise at Angkor Wat ( if no sunrise, the tour starts at 08am ), then head to Banteay Srei, a unique pink sandstone temple, Phnom Kulen mountain ( big Buddha, thousand Shiva lingas, waterfall. Lunch break at a local restaurant In the afternoon : Taking a boat cruise in Tonle Sap Great Lake to visit Kampong Phluk fishing village. *Day 3: The tour start at 8:00am to visit the elephant forest ( 10 elephant living there where you can touch, and feed elephants as well as to enjoy the daily activities of elephants. In the afternoon: -Ox-cart ride in a village -Hot air balloon ride -Trekking in a rural village to experience the daily lives of locals
