Overview of your Siem Reap tour
Floating Village is a unique, traditional fishing community in which fishermen's families have been living from generation to generation. You are able to explore the whole village with a traditional wooden private boat that takes you through the villages along the canal and toward the Tonle Sap, the Largest Fresh Water Lake in South-East Asia. You can see high stilted houses built about 10 to 12 meters above the ground to protect from flooding in the monsoon season and come across fishing boats, fish farms, crocodile farms, floating markets, fresh water mangrove forests; and especially, you can see daily activities of the local people and learn about their lifestyles. We will drive you through the countryside you will see traditional houses, rice paddy fields, and domestic animals that will leave you with great and unforgettable memories.
