I can bring you to the sites where you wish to see such as Angkor Wat, the surrounding temples, Museums, city, Kulen Mountain National Park, temples on the North Of Cambodia, the farmlands in countryside, local markets, the Capital City in Phnom Penh, and Beaches along the Coastline of Cambodia. Chum Reap Sour again ! I'm Sophon, travelers usually call me Tom. I'm a very friendly, passionate, enthusiastic and trustworthy tour guide. I was born in 1988, just ten years after the Khmer Rouge Regime in a small village near the Mekong River in Kampong Cham province, about 170 miles from Siem Reap. I have three brothers and two sisters and we are all living in Siem Reap now. After finishing high school in 2006, I moved to the capital city of Phnom Penh, but the following year, stressed by the hustle and bustle of the big city, I decided to move again to Sihanoukville, the most beautiful coast in Cambodia and maybe in the entire Asia! Beaches there have shining white sand, super blue cleaning water, and untouched islands. Few years later, I moved to Siem Reap, the most famous tourist destination in the country, where I attended Engish Classes. After attending my TEFL in 2011, I graduated in English for Education in 2015 and I was ongoing of Master Degree in Education. Apart of these, I used to be an English Teacher in several NGOs including Life and Hope Association Organization, as well as private schools like Future Bright International School, etc. Now I'm a well-trained and licensed tour guide by Ministry of Tourism. I have been guiding travelers to Angkor complex and all over The Kingdom of Cambodia since 2016. I love being a Tour Guide so much so far due to I always have beautiful experiences with this job and of course I want to share my beautiful culture, arts, amazing rich history, and all beautiful places of Cambodia to the world. Moreover, I want to get to know and learn different cultures as well, meeting people from all over the world. Thus, I'm looking forward to sharing and providing you with an exciting and interesting trip to the temples of Angkor, and all the surrounding areas in Cambodia. Yours Sincerely, Sophon - Uncompleted Master Degree in English for Education - Bachelor Degree in English for Education - Licensed guide by Ministry of Tourism - Certificate Of English IEAP (Intensive English for Academic Program) - Former teacher of English at private school and organization - I don’t guide you at The Wildlife Rescue Center - I don’t guide you at Artisans Handicrafts Art School (they have the experts) - I usually don’t drive by myself

Overview of your Siem Reap tour

I'm quite sure you will be exhausted after the two days tour, however you will earn so interesting experience and fun trip! We will start by early morning to catch up Banteay Srei known for its name The Lady Temple, yet it's a misunderstanding by local Cambodian who just like to assume things without proper knowledge. Then we continue to discover Kulen Mountain for the reasons why/how it was launched to be the first subject of Khmer Empire leading to a very successful Hariharalaya, Yasordharapura and Angkor Tom! After that, we stop by to visit Cambodian Landmines Museum to find out the impacts of landmines over the people of Cambodia causing by Vietnam War and many civil wars inside. Then catch up one of the most famous temple Ta Phrom during a less crowded time before returning to hotel. We begin our second day to the most well-known Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom for its significant temple Bayon. Then continue to catch up Tonle Sap Lake for its importance connecting to the prosperity of Angkor Empire!

We had a wonderful trip to Siem Reap and visited many temples with Sophon S. (Aka Tom) as our guide. We started off our tour at the Angkor National Museum and that gave us a nice context for all we were going to see on our 2 day tour. We felt very well taken care of with prompt pick up in an air conditioned van at our hotel, plenty of cold bottled water during the tour and tons of information about Khmer history and culture. The temples we visited were nothing less than amazing and really took our breath away. We also happened to be visiting during the Khmer New Year’s in mid April and that was also a site to see. I would recommend visiting Siem Reap and the Angkor temples for anyone thinking about a bucket-list trip like this and would also highly recommend Sophon S. (Tom) for your guide. You won’t regret making the trip!

Sophon (Tom) is an awesome tour guide, his ability to mange our group of 12 that had diverse interests and age ranges was commendable ! Tom also arranged safe and reliable bus and van transportation for the tours. Tom’s knowledge of the history of the region is unbelievable !! Most importantly, his caring, friendly and easy going nature made him feel as if he was part of our family.

Tom was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable, flexible, kind and pleasant. He cares deeply about Cambodia and loves sharing his experience. He prepared a tailor-made programme, according to our wishes, but he was also ready to make changes on the spot. We had a (supernice) driver (spoiling us with cold water and parfumed cold towels after each stop), and a (modern and comfortable) van, which allowed us to maximise our visit while remaining fresh and relaxed. My family and I were happy to have chosen tom
