I thoroughly enjoyed the day trip to Kosovo. Elio was an excellent guide. He took me to both the well-known sights and a very special memorial to a local hero. It was a long day, but a very enjoyable one. We went to the top of the Cathedral's Bell Tower for a magnificent view of Pristina. Elio described the things we could see and was able to answer my questions about the country and its history. When the museum I wanted to visit was closed, he suggested another sight. The Adem Jashari Memorial House was a poignant reminder of the horrors of the war in Kosovo. I was deeply touched by the museum and the memorial house. It was nice to sample local food in Prizren and walk through the old town. I highly recommend Elio as your guide in Albania and Kosovo.
