Amazing tour and a highlight of our trip! Genti is a truly gifted and incredibly knowledgeable guide. Having lived in the Tirana area his entire life, he shared a unique perspective on the region’s history and culture that we wouldn’t have experienced on our own. As first-time visitors to Albania, this was the perfect introduction to the beauty and history of the Berat area. The tour was well-paced and never felt rushed. Berat is absolutely stunning and rich in history, and without Genti, we would have missed so much. Communication beforehand was excellent—everything was clearly organized via WhatsApp, making the day completely stress-free from the start. Genti made our first visit to Albania truly memorable, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

Berat is definitely a must see! The drive from Tirana to Berat was beautiful but once we arrived in Berat, it was magical. Nico was an amazing guide. He showed me so much beauty and so much history which I love. Nico knows the areas very well and doesn't just give you a "tourist trip" but makes it personal and you see the city through a local's eyes. He also took me to Pupa Winery with beautiful views and the wines were amazing and super nice staff (obviously at the end of the trip! lol). This is why I love ToursByLocals. My wife and I had great tours of Berat, Durres, and Kruja with Genti and Nicolas. While both days were very hot, we were able to enjoy the sights from a comfortable and cool van. We ate delicious lunches on each tour, and both guides were very attentive to our physical disabilities. We highly recommend contacting Genti for touring Albania.

Genti was an outstanding tour guide. From the first stage of planning, until we said goodbye, it was absolutely perfect. He understood what we were interested in, took us to unusual places, off the beaten path, and especially surprised us with a museum he knew we would appreciate. Genti's English is perfect, so we could communicate well and his knowledge of history, culture and the world in general was excellent. His guiding exceeded our highest expectations.
