Ohrid Day Tour

This was an amazing tour and truly one of the highlights of our visit. Our guide, Elio, is exceptionally gifted and incredibly knowledgeable. Having lived in the Tirana area his entire life, he has witnessed many changes over the years and was able to share a unique and personal perspective on the region’s history and culture—something we would not have experienced on our own. As first-time visitors to Albania, we found this tour to be a perfect introduction. It was very well-balanced, with a comfortable pace that never felt rushed. The Ohrid area is both stunningly beautiful and rich in history, and without a guide like Elio, we would have missed so many meaningful details and insights. Communication prior to the tour was excellent. Elio coordinated everything clearly via WhatsApp, including pickup and meeting details, which made the start of the day completely stress-free. This being our first visit to Tirana, Elio made the experience truly memorable—so much so that we wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. Elio was great; very knowledgeable and quite fluent in English. I learned a lot before we even arrived in Ohrid. The tour was interesting, with a variety of different stops, and Elio gladly made minor changes to the itinerary to accommodate my interests. I would definitely recommend this tour with Elio. Extra tip: ask him to play Albanian language music in the car. He knows a lot about the artists and the songs, and it gave me additional insights into local culture.
