Hi! You are seeing this profile mainly because I love my country and I really enjoy tour-guiding. I am an Albanian, born and raised in Tirana, who has lived through the dramatic changes of the Albanian capital in the past 36 years. Although I have traveled extensively in my adult years, I am always thrilled to come back to my home-city. As the saying goes, "East or West, home is the best". If you choose to travel Albania with me, you will find out that I am passionate about the stories behind every street or corner, buildings and ruins, old neighborhoods or skyscrapers, traditional cuisine and fancy restaurants. I am fascinated by the ancient history of my country, enriched by its culture and traditions, challenged by the dynamics and changes, forever in love with its attractions and thrilled to be able to show you around. I have been working as a full time tour guide since 2008 and it seems like I am going to be doing this for many years to come. I am confident that Tirana and Albania will surprise you and if you choose to travel with me I will do my best to make your visit unforgettable. Berat is a gem of Albania where the visitor can find in one city many centuries of history interwoven together. The architecture, the old city center, the churches and mosques, the small streets and big houses, together with the breath taking natural beauties create an ensemble of wonders that stay with the visitor long after the visit. I have guided in Berat for many years and it only gets better, just like the wine that we are going to taste. It gives me great pleasure to guide you through the castle and old quarters, to introduce you to the locals and to experience the cultural heritage.
Adrian was an excellent guide and we fully enjoyed our time with him in Albania. He was very knowledgeable about his country and its history and shared a lot of information with us. He selected some excellent wineries for our tasting stops, and local restaurants which were among the highlights of our vacation. He was also very flexible, for example accommodating requested photo stops along the way. We would recommend Adrian to any future travelers.
We had a wonderful tour to Berat and Çobo Winery with Adrian. He is full of knowledge about Albania, its history and the places we traveled through. You can really tell that he he has a passion for Albania and tour-guiding. Even though he does tour all summer, he really made us feel special. It was great to spend a day with Adrian, wish we had time for more! Perfect guide. Hopefully we will be back for more tours in the future.
Adrian is a wonderful guide. He has a wealth of knowledge about Albania and is a pleasant person to spend the day with. I booked the Berat tour but asked Adrian if he could drive me to Saranda instead of taking me back to Tirana. He was more than happy to do this! Berat was amazing as was the wine-tasting at Cobo Winery. I highly recommend Adrian and am looking forward to my next tour with him!

Everything we could have hoped for - very helpful, knowledgable, friendly, great recommendations for food and drink, willing to help us, tailored the tour to what we were most interested in. Party of 2 senior ladies who went to Berat with Adrian. He was articulate, helpful, thoughtful and attentive from start to finish. He spoke fluent English with no topic off-limits. He went above and beyond to provide the best experience possible by including a last minute side trip to the ruins of Durres. His knowledge of Albanian history, his fun spirit, his personable demeanor enhanced our learning experience.
Meet at your hotel or selected venue, drive to Berat (approx 2. 5 hrs) and visit the castle, Onufri museum of medieval art, old churches and mosques, water cistern for the old city, breathtaking view of Osumi river valley. Then we walk to the medieval center of the city and visit cobblestone streets, Mangalem quarter, Gorica stone bridge. Stop for a quick lunch in one of the traditional restaurants. After lunch visit the new city and drive to Cobo winery. Customers can choose to buy a bottle of wine or even have a wine tasting for an extra price of 5 Euro. Drive back to Tirana, end of tour. And any particular preferences you may have, please let me know.
